Product description

For the first time ever as a standalone package, MTV Unplugged gives fans access to The Cranberries’ historic 1995 acoustic performance in its full glory. Previously only available as part of the No Need to Argue 30th Anniversary edition.

Originally captured on February 14, 1995, at the Howard Gilman Opera House in Brooklyn, NY, this intimate nine-song set — accompanied by the Electra Strings quartet — showcases the band in a stripped-down, acoustic light.

The 45-minute performance spans fan favorites and deeper cuts, including “Linger,” “Zombie,” “Ode to My Family,” “Empty,” plus the then-unreleased tracks “Free to Decide” and “I’m Still Remembering.” The set also features the rare gem “Yesterday’s Gone,” which remains without a studio version.

As one of the most beloved episodes in the MTV Unplugged series, The Cranberries’ acoustic performance has long been celebrated for revealing the unfiltered strength of Dolores O’Riordan’s voice.
