Pop-rock band LANY, formed by Paul Klein and drummer Jake Goss in Nashville, have never been short on ambition - even their name reflects that with it being an abbreviation for Los Angeles New York reportedly because they wanted success coast-to-coast in the US. They've gone a step further and in 2026 embark on a world tour in support of this sixth album of theirs, taking in everywhere from Dubai to Denver and Mexico City to Manchester. LANY's appeal comes from their smooth, soulful blend of 90s r&b, synthpop and indie rock. 'Stuck' is a modern classic love song that fixates around the feeling of desire and 'Soft' feels like a Daniel Caesar number thanks to the immaculate vocal take and minimal forward-thinking feel where gospel meets ambient noise and neo soul.
