Kel Tinariwen | Tinariwen - Vinyl
Kel Tinariwen is a raw and early document from Tinariwen, capturing the desert blues group before their sound reached wider international recognition.
Originally recorded as an early cassette in the 1990s and later released on vinyl, the album carries a more stripped-back and urgent energy than some of Tinariwen’s later work. Hypnotic guitar lines, call-and-response vocals, raw drum machine rhythms, and keyboard textures come together in a sound that feels both deeply rooted and unexpectedly modern.
This gatefold LP edition includes an MP3 download code and obi-strip, making it a strong piece for collectors of desert blues, African rock, psychedelic sounds, Arabic-influenced music, and early Tinariwen recordings.
